Project Spotlight:
GREEN SEAL CHOOSE GREEN REPORTS

Choose Green ReportWorking with Green Seal, the Center for Clean Products has authored several Choose Green Reports, including reports on Office Furniture, Carpet, and Particleboard and Medium-density Fiberboard. These reports present an overview of the industry, highlight the key environmental concerns and provide a list of recommended brands that are environmentally preferable. The reports should be available to the public later this year. Click here to access the Green Seal Web site.

Accomplishments:
CARPET STEWARDSHIP

The Center for Clean Products, in an effort led by Catherine Wilt, has championed a signed agreement on carpet stewardship, signed on Tuesday in Atlanta. This represents the first voluntary EPR/product stewardship agreement in the US achieved through multistakeholder dialogue (hopefully the first of many!). It has been signed by 7 states (we anticipate several more in the next few weeks, including two that we already have verbal commitments from), the USEPA, and more than 95% of the industry.
