Publications: CDP REPORT The Computer Display Project report is finally out! Visit our Publications page for links to the document (the documents on that page are listed alphabetically - look under "Desktop Computer Displays"). Project Spotlight: GREEN SEAL CHOOSE GREEN REPORTS Working with Green Seal, the Center for Clean Products has authored several Choose Green Reports, including reports on Office Furniture, Carpet, and Particleboard and Medium-density Fiberboard. These reports present an overview of the industry, highlight the key environmental concerns and provide a list of recommended brands that are environmentally preferable. The reports should be available to the public later this year. Click here to access the Green Seal Web site.

Accomplishments: CARPET STEWARDSHIP The Center for Clean Products, in an effort led by Catherine Wilt, has championed a signed agreement on carpet stewardship, signed on Tuesday in Atlanta. This represents the first voluntary EPR/product stewardship agreement in the US achieved through multistakeholder dialogue (hopefully the first of many!). It has been signed by 7 states (we anticipate several more in the next few weeks, including two that we already have verbal commitments from), the USEPA, and more than 95% of the industry.Click here to access the Memorandum of Understanding (pdf; 483 kb).
