What is the Odyssey?

A combination of national and local events and press that celebrate our collective work in the United States to diversify away from petroleum alone in the Vehicle Showcasetransportation sector to cleaner, more sustainable fuels. This year, the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition (ETCFC) is working with the Chattanooga Green Committee to show folks in East Tennessee what options are available now for finding a way to make a difference today.

For the ET Smart Energy Odyssey, we've decided to bring in all the great ways we can get smarter about our energy use and even just some wise ways to be human citizens on planet Earth. At right you will see a listing of all the companies, technologies, services, etc. that we will have at our event. It's your chance to learn a lot about smart energy in a little bit of time!

What's the Odyssey's history?

In 2002, the National Alt Fuels Training Consortium started a nationwide event that combines local events and national attention and education to the need to break away from our almost sole dependence on petroleum in the transportation sector.
