Over the last few years, we have spent more time working on developing the interest of teams to participating in the Run for Clean Air. Per our definition, a team is any group of four or more people that register under whatever team name they prefer. In 2007, that really ramped up as 10 teams came and enjoyed a day with us at the Run... and garnered some team prizes. Last year, two team prizes were handed out for
  1. most runners brought to the Run, and
  2. fastest team time (calculated via the top four team member's times added together).
The prizes that were handed out for teams in 2007 were a number of free passes for whitewater rafting on regional rivers (through Smoky Mountain Outdoors and Cascade Outdoors). We plan to offer similar prizes in 2008 although the exact prizes may change. There may also be additional team prizes added, including possibly best team name!

We very much appreciate all our teams' participation and thus developed this page to show off what teams are joining in the fun! See below for the teams that are already planning to come in 2008, and the teams that participated in 2007. Team photos are included as (if have them)! In 2008 we will be looking to make sure that we have pictures of all the teams that come to run or walk.

2007 Teams
In 2007, BWXT Y-12 actually had the fastest time and the most runners, but we give only one prize per team so Alstom Power received the fastest time award (as they were closes behind in 2nd place) while BWXT received the most runners award.
