Southeast Regional Biofuels Workshop
June 6-7, 2005
What a success! This workshop was the 2nd in a series of workshops that the SEAFTF has put together to advance alternative fuels use across the southeast, primarily the four states of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The steering and planning committees were hoping for 200 people total and we had over that attend. In addition, initial feedback has been very positive so we are pleased that the event went well.
The SEAFTF held a first regional workshop in Asheville, NC which was put together as an initial way to reach out to regional fleets and environmental organizations to educate them to the need to work together to advance the use of alternative fuels in our four states. We will place some of the documents that were related to that workshop here in the near future.
