The SE Fuels Fix is a rootin' tootin' collaborative effort of all the U.S. DOE Clean Cities Program coordinators in the southeastern United States working together to spread the word about actions that are taking place in our region to reduce oil dependence, improve air quality and get advanced vehicle technologies in use.
The Ezine is a quarterly collection of stories from all over the southeastern U.S. states about alternative fuels, hybrids, conversation and efficiency initiatives, emissions' reducing technologies, and the like from the coordinators themselves. In addition, other features that we stuff in include a SE public alt fuels station's matrix, stories from other SE related groups, inquirious details about actors for change in the southeast, and more!
The Fix was started in early 2008 when Jonathan Overly (East TN coor.) and Chelsea Jenkins (VA coor.) decided it was a worthwhile undertaking to spread the news of happenings in our region. The Summer '08 edition was our first, and was more of a newsletter format. The Fall '08 edition moved us more into the "Ezine" realm with the decision to make it more like a hard copy magazine but with soft copy distribution. Lucky for Overly and Jenkins, the rest of the southeastern coordinators have been great contributors and it is now a regional effort and affair.
We are proud to show you our handy work, and the efforts of all the hardworkers in the SE that are helping to make a difference in and for the United States of America. As we are all essentially running nonprofits, we do have advertising space in the Ezine so if you are interested in supporting all of the SE coalitions, just see our advertising section.
