Dr. Feldman's research interests include public involvement in natural-resource decisions, water resources policy, international activities that address global environmental problems, and risk management. His publications have appeared in more than 30 journals and several books. He also directs the Southeast Water Policy Initiative.
Dr. Feldman, formerly a policy analyst with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and water-resources planner for the state of Missouri, recently performed background research and undertook other efforts on behalf of Tennessee's Inter-basin Water Transfer Act, which was signed into law in May 2000, and the state's Water Supply Information Act of 2002.
His hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, cats, and collecting old maps.
