In addition to co-directing EERC's Pro-Dialogue Program, Dr. Feldman serves as adjunct professor of political science at the University of Tennessee and teaches in UT's graduate program in environmental policy. His research interests include public involvement in natural-resource decisions, water resources policy, international activities that address global environmental problems, and risk management. His publications have appeared in more than 30 journals and several books. Dr. Feldman, formerly a policy analyst with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and water-resources planner for the state of Missouri, currently serves as symposium director for Policy Studies Journal and editor of Policy Studies Review. Dr. Feldman recently performed background research and undertook other efforts on behalf of Tennessee's new Inter-basin Water Transfer Act, which was signed into law in May 2000. His hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, cats, and collecting old maps. |
